The Little Friend is Gone...
Today was an amazing day and more symbolic than I thought it was going to be, the port is gone. Minor surgery with one of the quickest, most efficient day surgeons (known to his staff as tick-tock let’s go), I was out of there in less than 4 hours. Love it! A little pain now, but no biggie. It’s a great feeling to have that piece of hardware out of my body and I’ve never been happier. Still waiting on a couple of test results and follow-up visits, so will keep you posted. Otherwise, good to go and back to “normal”. Ha!
